You complain of President Buhari and his economic team. I want to ask; does recession happens over night? You people should read and understand the causes of recession, effects and likely solutions especially for a country like Nigeria that produce nothing but consumes abundantly and also waste its resources.
The likely solutions of economic recession is what the federal government is doing, stimulate the economy by construction of infrastructures e.g Roads, Rails etc. What this does is get people employed, paid so they can also spend by buying.
secondly, blocking of leakages and extermination of ghost workers, this helps government to have more money to spend on useful projects.
Third, getting people employed, read some days back the employment of 500,000 persons.
One thing government can not do for now is to cut taxes, because the major revenue of government which is crude oil is not selling, also the production of same product is been sabotage by the corrupt elements from Niger-Delta.
Everybody is talking about 'forex' when most do not even know what its all about. How do you get dollar the major currency Nigeria trade with without selling(Export), remember you are a consuming nation not a producing one.
when you complained industries are closing and leaving Nigeria, ask yourself where are this industries from, where do they invest their money before this period. Most of the companies are controlled by foreigner and also their fund is transferred to their countries. MTN, AIRTEL, Shoprite, Karma, Pizza, and lost more are from where?
When you compare when crude was selling at $30 some years back, kindly compare population with demography.
Instead of complaining let support this government which as an outlook of sincerity and committed to make thing right.
Countries in currently in recession are: Canada, Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Algeria, Iraq, Russia etc.
on the brink of recession are : Mexico, Angola, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE etc.
